这首《Relief》发行的时间很早了2007年的专辑《Music for Tourists》这也是他的第一张专辑，比起其他的歌手第一次作品没有太多的稚嫩和青涩。略显老练的演唱，嗓音细腻而独特。
这首歌最吸引我的，是前奏的钢琴和轻轻的鼓点营造出的淡淡的忧郁的氛围。钢琴和大提琴交织出的背景，他的演唱更多的更像在耳边的轻语。
在《Relief》的MV，Chris扮作服务生随镜头在餐馆中穿梭。冷色调的美国寻常小餐馆，神情寥落而疲惫的各色人等落座其中。城市中人们的疏离和冷漠遍布他的音乐。有人说他的这张唱片堪比Damien Rice的《O》。可是在纽约的冬季街头和都柏林的秋日海岸，这两个同样在高处微微颤抖的声音却是在诉说着不同的心情。（此段来自百度收集）
